Volleyball team knocks off Huntington at home

The Bethel College volleyball team has struggled at home this year. Coming in to it’s match against Huntington on Wednesday night, Oct. 7 the Pilots had a record of 1-7 on their home court. The Pilots put it all together though and beat Huntington 3-1 in Goodman. Not only was it a much needed win at home it also moved Bethel into a tie with Huntington in the Crossroads League standings. Heading in to Wednesday night’s game the Pilots were 4-6 in Crossroads League play and Huntington was 5-5. Now they are both 5-6 and are fighting for that fourth spot in the Crossroads league standings. The top four teams in the final league standings get to host the first round game of the league tournament. Wednesday night’s game was live on the Bethel Sports Network. You can watch it under the archived live events section. The Pilots will be back in action Friday night against Davenport here on the Bethel campus. The Bethel Sports Network will also have live coverage of that game beginning at 7 p.m.
